Father To four Daughters and carer to my niece and her baby brother from covid. I have a great insight with my own household consumer group.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the retail industry, I began my career working in supermarkets and retail establishments while pursuing my studies. This experience led to my initial position as a trainee merchandiser, although I discovered my passion for buying. My first role was in lingerie, which transitioned into women's casual wear and subsequently into menswear. During my tenure at Next, I played a pivotal role in developing the branded proposition. This experience paved the way for my time at Republic, where I revitalized the womenswear branded offer and expanded the footwear and accessories proposition. At Burton, I contributed to shaping the wholesale process by applying insights gained from my work with brands. Over the past decade, I have held various roles at George ASDA, spanning men's, women's, and children's categories, including the market-leading School offer. My work with concessions, brands, and licenses has positioned me to assist other businesses with my extensive knowledge and expansive network.
